'Leading teachers' learning'

September 21, 2015 to September 22, 2015
On 21-22 September 2015, EUNEC has organized a conference on 'leading teachers' learning'. The event is hosted by the Irish Teaching Council, member of the network.

Teachers are the most crucial factor in maintaining and raising quality of the education and training system. They are, beneath the learner himself of course, the first responsible for obtaining learning results. They are an undispensable factor in any educational innovation. They are at the heart of the pedagogic process.
Therefore the themes of the size and even more of the competences of the teaching profession is present in every EUNEC debate: how to attract, train, maintain, coach and stimulate talented professionals during their careers as teachers.
Therefore it was decided to put the teaching profession in the picture of our work. The aim of the conference in Dublin is to share policy experiences and practices related to continuous professional development of teachers.
Programme and presentations are attached.
